Resolution & Conflicts


      Conflict can be seen in both a positive and negative way in a workplace. It can divide a workforce or it can bring everyone closer. Although we might not agree with co-workers' opinions and ideas it is still important we listen to others' perspectives. Having all these opinions and ideas from everyone can be a handful, however, it can also be a blessing. To explain, all these ideas and opinions can raise important topics to talk about within the workforce that others did not think about. Also, it allows the company to improve its business based on what the workers say. Some ideas might be similar, others might be very different, and some might not be a great fit for the company. However, with a conflict, everyone will continue to share their ideas. Eventually, they will come to an end result that benefits not just the company but the workforce as well. Sometimes it is not as easy to resolve conflict, but if everyone gives their input others can learn from it, and it creates a positive teamwork-based environment. Having a positive teamwork-based environment can lead to major success, look at Google as an example.
